The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness of emerging trends identified by the APO and to design strategies to address emerging issues, customized for individual member countries.

In the two-day Strategic Planning Workshop APO Directors and Heads of National Productivity Organizations reviewed specific requirements and draft future development programs. The workshop consisted of an APO-identified scenario planning and response exercise, Specific National Program (SNP) consultative discussions, and a consolidation session.
