General Awareness Training (GAT) Programs
A crucial element of successful career management is continuous learning.
As the pace of change continues to
accelerate, the knowledge we acquire during our formative years rapidly
become obsolete and new learning is needed to thrive in today’s
workplace. While employers bear some responsibility for providing
training to keep their workforce on the cutting edge, it is ultimately
up to individuals to keep themselves current. This can be accomplished
through training. GAT Programs are designed in a manner that keeps the
audience well informed with the latest tools and techniques.
The GAT program serves to disseminate awareness about productivity, quality and its techniques with the mandate to inculcate productivity culture among Pakistani Industrial and Educational sectors. The target audiences in the GAT programs are usually students who have to shoulder the responsibilities of the industrial sector along with representatives from various industries. The main purpose of this program is to equip them with the latest productivity improvement tools and techniques, which Asian Tiger Economies have successfully followed for their industrial growth and development Top priority is given to the motivational aspects through adequate provision of management and supervisory development programs. We believe managers are the key players in the industry, whose knowledge must be updated and outlook broadened so that they are in a position to introduce more efficient systems in their respective industries. In order to make GAT programs successful, NPO has developed institutional network throughout Pakistan with more than 60 institutions which includes Chambers of Commerce, Leading Universities of Pakistan and sectoral associations.
